As a DONA-Certified Doula, I will provide continuous, uninterrupted physical, emotional and informational support throughout your labor and birth.  You will also receive at least two prenatal visit and one postpartum visit, as well as a detailed account of the birth in the form of a letter to your baby.  I feel that it is a great honor and a privilege to be included in the birth of your child, and I look forward to helping you and your partner have the best possible birth experience.

Menu of services

Birth doula

This service includes one prenatal meeting, unlimited phone and email consultation and support throughout your pregnancy, continuous labor support throughout your labor and birth, amateur birth photography, and one post partum visit to process the birth experience.

Birth story
I will take detailed notes of your labor and birth and then afterwards, type up the entire story in the form of a letter to your new baby. This is something you and your baby will treasure for years to come.

Belly casting
I can help you create a lasting 3 dimensional work of art to capture the memory of your pregnancy. I will come to your home and bring all of the necessary supplies. Once the cast is dry enough to remove, I will take it home and add additional plaster and gesso in order to provide further support to the sculpture and to prepare it for decorating. If you choose, I will deco patch it with lovely paper in a color of your choosing. If you prefer, I can return it to you ready for you to paint or deco patch yourself. Many parents love to hang these creations in their child’s nursery to enjoy.

Post partum doula services
The role of the post partum doula is to support the family upon the birth or adoption of a new baby. We take care of the practicalities of life so you can do the important work of recovering from birth and bonding with your new baby.

(Available in four hour blocks of time)

Infant massage instruction
This service provides one on one private instruction in the art of infant massage. Instruction is held in my home or yours and takes approximately ninety minutes.
